India vs Sri Lanka 4th ODI Live Streaming at Kolkata

Watch India vs Sri Lanka 4th odi live streaming free on your PC at 14:30 local time (09:00 GMT) on 24th Dec.The 2-1 scoreline is not unexpected given the way India have pushed Sri Lanka to the brink in all but one game - a Twenty20 - played in the limited-overs leg of the tour. But now, with the home team missing two match-winners, a hurting Sri Lanka have a realistic chance of leveling the series.

This will be the first time since MS Dhoni's debut in 2004 that India play an ODI without him and Yuvraj Singh. Dhoni has often said that missing Yuvraj is a big blow, so how India cope with the loss of their captain and best batsman in ODIs in addition to Yuvraj will be crucial.

The pitch, one that's expected to play slow and low in the latter half, will favour India's spinners who found rhythm and confidence in Cuttack. Chilly temperatures, the dew factor and a slow-paced track mean that the bowlers will need to produce another special performance. With bitter cold and early morning fog expected to have a telling impact in Delhi, the venue for the fifth match, India will be keen to wrap up the series here.

India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI Live Streaming at Nagpur

Watch India vs Sri Lanka 2nd odi live streaming free on your PC at 14:30 local time (09:00 GMT) on 18th Dec. The bowlers will head into Nagpur with the Rajkot run fest on their minds, but they won't get much relief from another hard track at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. India have the momentum and victory in Nagpur will give them a formidable 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Making it worse for Sri Lanka is the fact that they are down two bowlers. Muttiah Muralitharan and Dilhara Fernando have been ruled out for the series, meaning the visitors have two fresh faces, both potential debutants, which will not help a side aiming to level the series. It will take a huge effort for them to turn the tide their way on this surface.

Mahela Jayawardene: Sri Lanka's former captain has experienced an unusual run of form in 2009 where he either gets a start and can't convert or falls early. In 23 innings this year, he has a century and three half-centuries; his next-highest score is 33 and three times he's been dismissed without scoring. The law of averages says it's about time for a century, but it will be against a side off which he has only one hundred in 55 innings. To do so, Jayawardene will need to get over his struggles against India's spinners, who have now dismissed him five times - six if you count the run out in Rajkot during a Ravindra Jadeja over - from his seven ODI innings against them in 2009.

Gautam Gambhir: He's been India's most consistent Test batsman this year but his figures aren't so hot in ODIs. His only century came against Sri Lanka in the first week of February and since then Gambhir has managed four half-centuries. For a determined player, who has made a superb effort to convert fifties into centuries in Tests, changing a habit that hampered him for some time, doing the same in ODIs must be a goal. Given the nature of the Nagpur track - India eased past 350 runs when they played Australia here in October - it is tough to visualise one of the top three not getting a big score. Gambhir has been able to bat at the top in only ten of 20 innings in 2009; if he gets the chance to bat at No. 3 tomorrow, count on a significant innings.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI Live Streaming at Rajkot

Watch India vs Sri Lanka 1st odi live streaming free on your PC at 09:00 local time (03:30 GMT) on 15th Dec. India, despite their No. 2 ICC ranking, are not exactly bristling with confidence. They might have won 14 out of 23 completed ODIs this year, but are coming off a disappointing Champions Trophy and a home-series defeat to Australia. Sreesanth is surely out, and Yuvraj Singh is unlikely to play in the opener. That leaves a shaky middle order and a patchy bowling attack, neither of which fired cohesively against Australia. Zaheer and Harbhajan Singh's task of boosting India's bowling is now cut out.

A hungry Kumar Sangakkara is precisely the captain and player Sri Lanka need. His successive thrilling half-centuries in the two Twenty20s underlined his quality - if proof were needed - and he remains a formidable figure at the top of the order. Sangakkara hasn't made a one-day hundred in 34 innings since June 2008, but there were signs in Nagpur and Mohali that his best form might just be around the corner.

Sanath Jayasuriya did better than Tillakaratne Dilshan in the Twenty20s but was comfortably overshadowed by Sangakkara's top-order fireworks. Always a powerful striker, he will now be an important middle-order player regardless of whether Sri Lanka get away to a flier or lose early wickers. The test will be for him to add extra patience to his game in the latter scenario. Jayasuriya's left-arm spin is equally vital - his spell in the first Twenty20 was crucial to Sri Lanka's win - and he has a knack of breaking through when the lead bowlers are struggling.

It has been exactly 10 months since Zaheer Khan played an ODI, but he held up during the Tests and the break from the Twenty20s should have given him time to rest. India's bowling wasn't at its best in the time Zaheer was out with injury and he will reunite with Ashish Nehra, India's best fast bowler since he returned in June, for the first time since 2005. The two are clever one-day bowlers, and having a potent left-arm opening duo could lift India's chances.

The two significant problems India had in England, however, will be missing from these two games. Virender Sehwag, who had an injured shoulder during the World Twenty20, is back and in frightening form, and the other batsmen's weaknesses against the rising delivery are unlikely to be exposed on the flat and true pitches in India.

Gary Kirsten, the India coach, had said after they were eliminated from the World Twenty20 that there were holes in the Twenty20 set-up and teams had worked out strategies to effectively negate India's strengths. The next World Twenty20 is in May 2010 and the opportunities to formulate, fine-tune and effect plans are limited.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, had a terrific World Twenty20 and were unbeaten until the final, which they lost to Pakistan. They were the tournament's most vibrant team: the evergreen Sanath Jayasuriya and Tillakaratne Dilshan's daring improvisations gave them fast starts, while the combination of Murali, Mendis and Malinga was simply too much for most opponents to handle. Since then, however, Sri Lanka have lost three matches on the trot - one to Pakistan and two to New Zealand, that too at home.

Their Test bowlers were battered by the Indian batsmen and Sri Lanka will welcome the addition of Lasith Malinga's pace and yorker-bowling skills to their attack. Jayasuriya will join Dilshan to form a destructive, match-winning opening combination. The question, though, is whether Ajantha Mendis will be able to exercise any control over a batting line-up that treated him with disdain over the last month.

South Africa's dilemma is whether to stick or twist ... do they recall Herschelle Gibbs to the middle order in an admission that their batting is vulnerable, or do they trust Ryan McLaren to knuckle down at No. 7 and put his consecutive ducks to the back of his mind? Given that Steyn's injury leaves them lacking in firepower, the likelihood is a reprieve for McLaren, whose medium-pacers have had their moments in the series, and a silent prayer that de Villiers comes as good as he did at Newlands.

South Africa (possible) 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Hashim Amla, 3 AB de Villiers, 4 JP Duminy, 5 Alviro Petersen, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Ryan McLaren, 8 Wayne Parnell, 9 Johan Botha, 10 Morne Morkel, 11 Charl Langeveldt

No such concerns for England, who have a settled first XI for arguably the first time since the 1992 World Cup final (when even then they had to decide between Allan Lamb and Robin Smith). James Anderson reported a knee injury in the build-up to the Port Elizabeth match, but figures of 5 for 23 in ten overs suggest he shook it off pretty effectively, meaning Graham Onions will once again be left carrying the drinks.

England (possible) 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Jonathan Trott, 3 Kevin Pietersen, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Matt Prior (wk), 7 Luke Wright, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Tim Bresnan, 10 Graeme Swann, 11 James Anderson.

Part of Sehwag would have felt for Sri Lanka (he says he feels sorry for the bowlers when he bats this well); more helpless bowling units would be hard to find. Sri Lanka could manage only four maidens between them out of 79 painful overs. M Vijay, playing his second Test because of Gautam Gambhir's absence, and Rahul Dravid scored 149 runs between them in 242 balls, but they were distant second fiddles.

Nothing, though, told the story like Muttiah Muralitharan's plight. He was the last of the specialist bowlers tried, in the last over before lunch. By that time Sehwag had already reached his fifty and India had scored 85 in 17 overs. He bowled the first ball with a long-on in place and never looked like creating any opportunity in 19 succeeding overs.

When Murali started his ninth over, Sehwag had reached 110 off 107 deliveries, Vijay 83 off 111, and India 198 in 36 overs. Murali bowled a doosra, Sehwag took his front foot out of the line, and lofted it over extra cover. The next ball Murali shortened the length, Sehwag read the doosra again, went back into the crease and presented the deadest of defences. Murali dropped his wrists in exasperation and went back to brood over figures of 9-0-56-0, which would only become worse. He has now bowled 69 consecutive overs without a maiden.

Normally a pitch hosting a Test for the first time in 36 years would be a big unknown, but this one seems to have come as a pleasant change for both captains. Both expect nice bounce, help for fast bowlers in the earlier stages, and spin in the latter. "There will be a bit of bounce for the fast bowlers and as the game progresses you will see the spinners coming into action," Dhoni said. "They will get a bit of turn with bounce and that is what the spinners love the most. The first session will be crucial and that is when the seamers will get a bit of help, and also in the evening because of this time of the year the fast bowlers - if they maintain the ball - they will be able to swing it."

* Eleven out of 17 Tests at the Brabourne have been drawn, but four out of the last six have yielded results.

* c Jayawardene b Murali is one short of 100 dismissals in all international cricket, by far a record for a bowler-fielder combination.

* Leading into his Test comeback, Sreesanth had bowled 112 overs for eight first-class wickets at 45.75. In his first innings back in Test cricket, he took 22 overs to finish a match-winning five-for.

* Rahul Dravid is only 218 runs behind Ricky Ponting, but has scored 28 centuries as opposed to Ponting's 38. Mahela Jayawardene has scored only one century fewer than Dravid, but has done it over 9079 runs, as opposed to Dravid's 11,182.

Six wins from seven starts a statistic that looked like an anomaly is starting to take on a life of its own, as England continue their improbable dominance of South Africa in 50-over cricket. At Centurion on Sunday, Paul Collingwood marked his national-record 171st appearance with a sublime allround performance, as England exacted satisfying vengeance for their humiliation in the previous week's second Twenty20.

Their seven-wicket victory showcased the unfamiliar vein of confidence that is running through the squad at present, and while Andrew Strauss has made caution a watchword throughout his impressive tenure as England captain, it's fair to suggest that they have got their opponents a little bit rattled at present.

Mickey Arthur, South Africa's coach, has not been short of a word or two in this series, but his attempts at psychological warfare have so far fallen on impassive ears. Jonathan Trott, the principal object of his ire, ignored the boo-boys and fronted up with a critical 87 to anchor England's run-chase at Centurion, and though Arthur's other target, Adil Rashid, has been rather subdued in his two appearances to date, he can hardly be regarded as a pivotal figure in England's plans just yet.

Indian cricket's prodigal son Sreesanth returned to international cricket in style with a five-for, and six wickets overall, to leave Sri Lanka staring at defeat in the second Test in Kanpur. Sri Lanka, forced to follow on after tea, were tottering in the second innings still 356 runs adrift with six wickets standing.

Though India's spinners and Sri Lanka's batsmen - the senior-most duo contrived a run-out while following on - contributed to the collapse, most of the work was done by Sreesanth, playing his first international game in 19 months. For nine successive overs in the first session, and for seven on the trot in the second, he ran in hard, hit the deck and found life in a slow pitch. He led the way in the second innings too, removing Tillakaratne Dilshan with a leg cutter, before Sri Lanka started to disintegrate against spin.

It was a classic grind-to-dust approach by the Indians led by Dravid, who, during the course of his 28th century went past Allan Border's run tally in Tests. The stand-out factor in Dravid's batting during this series has been his intent. He's been decisive, in defense and attack, and has been aggressively looking to score. Today he displayed the full repertoire: the charges down the track, the gorgeous inside-out cover drives on a stretched front foot, and the skillful punches off the back foot all were there but what stood out was a late cut against Mendis. The ball was skidding towards off stump, Dravid checked his forward press, waited for the ball to arrive before opening the blade and gliding it past backward point. There was no violence, just pure timing, and the stroke captured the spirit of his innings.

It was a run orgy at the Green Park stadium in Kanpur. The first session witnessed a semblance of battle, at least in the first hour, but play for the rest of the day was a one-way street heading India's way. Gautam Gambhir notched up his seventh hundred in nine Tests, Virender Sehwag completed a feisty century, Rahul Dravid was close to his ton and India posted the highest total scored in a day in a Test in India.

The situation was summed up by the sight of Rangana Herath bowling over the stumps and outside leg to the newly arrived Dravid. It said so much about what Sri Lanka were thinking and about how totally India had dominated. Things are likely to get worse for Sri Lanka with the pitch expected to break up in a couple of days.

It wasn't just the runs, it was the manner in which they were compiled from the second hour on that was telling. The batsmen seemed to do as they wished: Gambhir punctuated his charges down the wicket with delicate late cuts, Sehwag went either inside-out or carved across the line as his mood seized him, and Dravid, who hit the last ball of the day for a boundary, pierced the off-side field at will.

  • The Green Park has 20 Tests so far, of which 12 have been drawn. Recent games have been more result oriented, though, with only three draws in the last seven Tests.
  • India have a good record here, winning three of the last six Tests and drawing the others. The last time they lost in Kanpur was way back in 1983, against West Indies.
  • Samaraweera averages a cracking 115.33 against India in Sri Lanka but has a measly average of 22.40 from six innings in India. Muralitharan's bowling averages too are similarly skewed: He averages a poor 42.58 from 12 innings in India.
  • Virender Sehwag averages 50 in five Tests against Sri Lanka, but only 18.66 in two games against the same team at home. Of his 400 runs, 251 came in one Test.
  • These two teams played each other only once in Kanpur, in 1986, and it was a high-scoring draw. They couldn't finish even the first innings; Sri Lanka were all out for 420 and India were 676 for 7 when the curtains fell on the Test.
  • In 20 Tests at this ground, only once has the team winning the toss chosen to field - India did it way back in 1964, in a drawn game against England.

Watch South Africa (Rsa) vs England (Eng) 1st ODI live streaming free on your PC at 14:30 local time (12:30 GMT) on 20th Nov. England and South Africa shared last week's Twenty20 series 1-1, but that scoreline disguises the staggering gulf that emerged between the sides in the second of the two fixtures at Centurion. Eoin Morgan's unbeaten 85 from 45 balls in the first match had set English pulses racing, but two days later, his effort was put into stark context by Loots Bosman and Graeme Smith, whose world-record 170-run opening stand came from a ridiculously rapid 13 overs.

South Africa vs England 1st ODI Live Streaming

South Africa duly won a farcically one-sided contest by 84 runs (and by 17 sixes to six), in a declaration of intent that has since been backed up by Mickey Arthur's bellicose comments in the press. "No more Mr Nice Guys" is the message being sent out, and England's South African middle-order of Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pietersen can expect to bear the brunt of the new nasty edge.

Pietersen, however, has seen it all before - nothing will ever compare to the reception he received on his first tour to South Africa in 2004-05, and on that occasion he responded with three centuries in five innings. Trott, meanwhile, has been one of England's most consistent performers on the tour so far, most recently in the warm-up at Potchefstroom, where he made 78 from 89 balls to overcome South Africa A.

England's biggest concerns are all internal ones, with two players - Graeme Swann and Stuart Broad - already ruled out of the first two ODIs, and a host of key players, including Paul Collingwood and James Anderson, fighting for full fitness. Andrew Strauss, who missed the Twenty20s, returns to resume his rivalry with Smith, the man whom he refused a runner during an heroic but futile century in the Champions Trophy back in September.

Sri Lanka gave themselves a minimum of 135 overs and an ample cushion of runs to try and register their first Test win in India, but the Ahmedabad pitch got deader and deader with every passing minute. Gautam Gambhir got into long-innings mode, reminiscent of his match-saving effort in Napier earlier this year, but Chanaka Welegedara brought Sri Lanka right back with Rahul Dravid's wicket 15 minutes before stumps.

Sri Lanka seemed a little unsettled by a charmed innings from Virender Sehwag who survived his own ambitious mindset to score an aggressive half-century. The Sri Lankan fast bowlers failed to replicate the swing they got in the first innings, and apart from a few moments of indiscretion from Sehwag, it seemed they would spend the day without a wicket.

Jayawardene was supported by Thilan Samaraweera in the first session, Prasanna Jayawardene in the second and third, and by muddled thinking from India in both. Their fast bowlers couldn't generate any swing, conventional or reverse, but still looked the only ones capable of making things happen. The only blip for Sri Lanka came when Samaraweera was set up by Zaheer Khan and dismissed by Ishant Sharma, but Jayawardene had started assuredly, and never gave India a serious look-in. Despite that Mathews wicket to what turned out to be the last ball before lunch, the Jayawardenes thwarted any hopes of a quick Indian comeback.

Rahul Dravid's 27th century - and tenth 150-plus score - carried more intent than probably any of his Test innings, and helped by MS Dhoni's second century and Yuvraj Singh's seventh half-century, led India's remarkable comeback from 32 for 4 in the first half hour. Along the way, he took part in his 77th and 78th 100-run partnerships (both world records), scored more runs than he ever has in a day's play, crossed Steve Waugh to become the fifth-highest run-getter in Tests, reached 11,000 career runs, and most importantly undid the superb start that two rookies gave Sri Lanka. Chanaka Welegedara and Dammika Prasad were last-minute replacements for Nuwan Kulasekara and Thilan Thushara, but they combined to give India flashbacks of their previous Test in Ahmedabad, when they were shot out for 76 by South Africa.

India's first Test in more than seven months began on a good note: MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat on a good, hard Ahmedabad pitch, "very different from the one we last played on". The last Test that Dhoni referred to was the one against South Africa, when India were shot out for 76 on the first morning.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test Live Streaming

Sri Lanka, even though they have played regular Test matches and risen to No. 2 in the rankings, were looking to win a Test in India for the first time. They started off with a slightly strange selection: Nuwan Kulasekara and Thilan Thushara, their two successful fast bowlers, were not on the final list, neither was Ajantha Mendis. Dammika Prasad and Chanaka Welegedara, total experience of four Tests between them, were to take the new ball, and left-arm spinner Rangana Herath playing in place of Mendis.

Watch South Africa (Rsa) vs England (Eng) 2nd T20 live streaming free on your PC at 14:30 local time (12:30 GMT) on 15th Nov.If South Africa stick to their pre-series talk of giving all the squad a game it means some shuffling of the pack. Heino Kuhn is in line for a debut - Mark Boucher could be rested - while Jacques Kallis will return, although purely as a batsman, and Yusuf Abdulla, the left-arm seamer, is another pace option.

England are carrying a number of players with minor niggles. Collingwood (back), Anderson (knee) and Swann (side) all missed training as a precaution and face morning fitness tests ahead of the game. With Stuart Broad still recovering from his shoulder injury, Kevin Pietersen not due to return until Tuesday and Andrew Strauss opting out of Twenty20 the squad could be stretched. Adil Rashid and Graham Onions are the two players who didn't appear in the opening match.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd T20 Live Streaming at Dubai

Watch Pakistan (Pak) vs New Zealand (Nz) 2nd T20 live streaming free on your PC at 20:00 local time (16:00 GMT) on 12th Nov.Brendon McCullum, New Zealand's stand-in captain, is not looking too much into defeat to Pakistan in the first Twenty20. McCullum oversaw a 49-run loss in the first of two fixtures after New Zealand lost Daniel Vettori to a concussion, Kyle Mills to a shoulder injury and Jacob Oram to paternal leave, but was not too crushed at defeat against the world champions.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd T20 Live Streaming

McCullum's decision to field was prompted to a degree by Australia's capitulation for 108 at the same venue in May, but it proved a costly one as Pakistan raced to 160 thanks largely to the opener Imran Nazir's 38-ball 58. "We looked at the stats and looked at the pitch and thought it might offer some assistance to the bowlers," McCullum said. "I thought it did that - we just didn't execute as well as what we should've with our fourth and fifth bowler. I think 140 was probably a par score."

Imran Nazir scored a quickfire 58 as Pakistan posted 161 in the first Twenty20 International against New Zealand in Dubai

New Zealand had only 11 players to choose from for the Twenty20 internationals, as Kyle Mills is recovering from an injured shoulder, and James Franklin nursing an injured back. Allrounder Jacob Oram, too, is missing, for he had to return to New Zealand for the birth of his first child. During the first Twenty20, Aaron Redmond picked up a groin strain while bowling, forcing New Zealand to use a half-fit Franklin as a substitute.

South Africa vs England 1st T20 Live Streaming at Johannesburg

Watch South Africa (Rsa) vs England (Eng) 1st T20 live streaming free on your PC at 18:00 local time (16:00 GMT) on 13th Nov. England's two-and-a-half-month tour of South Africa begins in earnest on Friday with the first of two Twenty20 internationals at the Wanderers as both sides look to make an opening statement. Having the one-day leg of the tour first means it won't be buried after the main event of the Tests and should retain importance.

South Africa vs England 1st T20 Live Streaming

The winners will say Twenty20 allows them to build momentum, while the losers will quickly brush off the significance of the matches ahead of the one-day series next week. However, there is still a sense, outside of the World Twenty20, that internationally this format is still the third priority.

England's preparations were going well until their defeat against South Africa A when the batting subsided for 89 all out, while injuries haven't helped the planning. Paul Collingwood takes the reins for the Twenty20s before Andrew Strauss returns for the one-dayers which also creates a slightly disjointed feeling about the tourists' line-up.

South Africa, on the other hand, were hitting their stride against Zimbabwe with a crushing 212-run victory in the second ODI at Centurion. The home side will use the Twenty20s as a chance to give all the players in the squad a run, with the exception of the injured Wayne Parnell, but there is also the need to prepare for next year's ICC World Twenty20. For both teams the next two matches could be the only Twenty20 games they play before that global event in West Indies.

South Africa squad

Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st T20 Live Streaming

Watch Pakistan (Pak) vs New Zealand (Nz) 1st T20 live streaming free on your PC at 20:00 local time (16:00 GMT) on 12th Nov. Pakistan face their own demons with the bat; the terrible shot selection that brought their downfall in the ODI decider prompted Afridi to liken his batsmen to "club cricketers", and the comparison will only be reinforced in the event of a repeat.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st T20 Live Streaming

After a riveting end to the ODI series, which New Zealand won 2-1, the focus turns to the Twenty20s, which Pakistan will feel they are better placed to trump. Pakistan conceded the ODI series in typically erratic fashion, making a meal of a chase of 212 before a phenomenal fightback staged by Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal ensured the game was settled in the final over. They will be disappointed by a fifth consecutive ODI series defeat, especially one they were well poised to win, but the Twenty20 games in Dubai present an opportunity to redress that.

Ross Taylor has proved destructive in the death overs in this format. His exploits in the IPL and the Champions League Twenty20 are well known but his performances on the international circuit - he averages 23.68 in Twenty20 internationals against 34.31 overall - have been less successful. He'll want to change that.

India vs Australia 7th ODI Live Streaming

Watch India vs Australia 7th odi live streaming free with good quality on your PC at 14.30 local time on 11th Nov. Australia's captains Ponting happy with batsman as well as bowlers especially with Bollinger and Johnson.

Watch India vs Australia 7th ODI Live Streaming

Sachin Tendulkar: That dazzling century at Hyderabad aside, he has contributed just 100 in five innings. This, though, is a special game, the first time he'll be playing in front of his home crowd since the terror attacks in Mumbai a year ago. Some of his greatest innings against Australia have come in Mumbai (twin fifties in the Test in 2001, and 90 in the World Cup of 1996), but they never resulted in Indian wins. He'll be desperate to change that.

Doug Bollinger: A generation ago, Brett Schultz's left-arm pace caused India immense discomfiture on a tour of South Africa. Bollinger, who's as quick and more accurate, has had a similar impact since his introduction into this series, taking nine wickets at 19.33. The caught-and-bowled dismissal of Tendulkar was the big moment in the six-wicket romp in Guwahati, and there should certainly be enough bounce at the Navi Mumbai venue to keep him interested.

rootzoo.com : Australia have won the series and the 7th ODI just becomes significant from a statistician’s point of view; probably another last chance for India to play their best.

The mighty Aussies (they deserved to be called so) have come to the subcontinent with no big names and played with almost a second rated team and have gotten unassailable lead of 4 games to 2 and the 7-match ODI series will conclude with the last one day match in Mumbai on Wednesday.

If the 5th ODI had been a close finish and seen a swinging of fortunes until the last over, the 6th ODI had been a boring one to say the least. India won the toss and elected to bat at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati only to disappoint the fans who thought that they would see the top order fire. The first 5 wickets fell under 30 runs and it must have taken resilience on part of youngsters like Jadeja and Praveen Kumar to take to 170 runs. The small total was chased with little effort by the Aussies.

India vs Australia 6th ODI Live

Watch India vs Australia 6th odi live streaming free with good quality on your PC at 09.00 local time on 8th Oct. Australia's captains Ponting happy with batsman but he got lot of frustration from bowling side. Except Bollinger and McKey nobody performed well from bowling side.

Ravindra Jadeja has found a fair amount of criticism in the local newspapers for his inept running during the previous game but the lack of another allrounder means he should keep his place. His bowling has been handy so far, bar the last game where everyone but Harbhajan Singh bled runs, so that should work in his favour. Munaf Patel got one game and was awful, so he could well be replaced by Sudeep Tyagi; that is, if India choose to throw the youngster into the ring with the series on the line.

* The best bowling figures at the Nehru Stadium belong to Robin Singh, who took 5 for 22 here in 1997.
* Tendulkar more than doubled his run tally with his 175 and now sits just behind Michael Hussey with 265 for the series.
* After starting the series with two poor matches with the ball, Shane Watson is now the highest wicket-taker with eight at 24.12.

Australia (probable): Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting (capt.), Michael Hussey, Cameron White, Adam Voges, Graham Manou (wk), Andrew McDonald/Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Clint McKay, Doug Bollinger.

India(probable): Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni (capt/wk), Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel/Sudeep Tyagi, Ashish Nehra.

The game was evenly balanced mid way during the chase with India in consolidation mode at 101 for 3, but Yuvraj and Dhoni slowly and surely pulled India ahead. They batted with restraint while settling in on this track because, as Michael Hussey proved earlier during an unbeaten 81, batting got easier with more time spent on it.
They scored largely in singles and twos before Yuvraj attacked in the 34th over with 94 needed in 17 overs. He flicked for six and hit an extra-cover drive off Moises Henriques before he repeated the sequence next over with a bludgeoned six over long-on and a square-driven boundary against Adam Voges. The momentum shifted permanently after that and Yuvraj played several exquisite drives. He fell 29 runs short of the target but Dhoni struck a couple of boundaries to ward off any hiccups.
Australia had tried their best to apply the squeeze in the middle overs of the chase with the spin-seam combo of Nathan Hauritz and Doug Bollinger. The fast-improving Hauritz slowed his pace and punctuated his offbreaks with the one that went on with the arm. Dhoni chose to play Hauritz off the back foot while Yuvraj pressed forward. Bollinger, who replaced Ben Hilfenhaus, bowled a nagging line and length to strangle the batsmen. Peter Siddle, too, was economical and Australia's bowling, in the absence of Brett Lee and a quality spinner, was as tight as Ponting could hope for but perhaps they had erred in their conservative estimate of a total on this sluggish track.
Once Australia decided not to play specialist opener Shaun Marsh, and possessing a thin middle-order inexperienced in such conditions, they were going to depend heavily on Ponting, Hussey and Shane Watson to reach a competitive total. Their approach seemed to indicate wariness that a collapse was never too far away on a demanding surface. Ponting, who opened only for the second time in his 327-ODI career in Tim Paine's absence, and Watson didn't try anything fancy during a sedate but solid start before Hussey took charge of seeing Australia through to the finish.

DC vs Trinidad & T Champions League T20 Cricket, Online Live Score, Highlights 2009

12th Match, Group A: Deccan v Trinidad & T at Hyderabad
Oct 14 (20:00 local, 14:30 GMT)
Deccan Chargers entered into Champions League as the most fancied team, but flatered at their first step. They lost in the hands of Sussex Sharks and now end up in a perform-or-perish situation. They got to win this match to stand any chance of sealing berth to the next round.
Their captain Adam Gilchrist is not one to brood over the loss; he is capable to quickly remote turn the mood in the dressing room. The practical skipper is not only a great striker of the ball on his day, but is a good planner and executioner as well. Gilly believes, team should put up a good show and success will come to their feet. I would love to see his game strategy against the less fancied minnow team Trinidad & Tobago.
On the other hand, the Island nation team Trinidad & Tobago came to the League with no big names other than Bravo brothers and Ramden. Dwayne Bravo is a great all rounder nonetheless an erratic performer too. On his day, he strikes with bat and ball.
His younger brother Darren Bravo too is getting a lesson or two from his brother to cope up the international exposure and suit to play in different formats of the game. Their Captain Daren Ganga is oozing confidence that they have what it takes to beat the likes of Deccan Chargers. Time has answer for this match; while

Eagles vs Sussex Champions League T20 Cricket, Online Live Score, Highlights 2009

11th Match, Group B: Eagles v Sussex at Delhi
Oct 13 (20:00 local, 14:30 GMT)
Diamond Eagles will play in a key encounter tomorrow against Sussex Sharks.
The Diamond Eagles team from South Africa came to the subcontinent without a clue of T20 matches. They were outplayed by the NSW Blues in what had been a one-sided match. There had been nothing great that the Eagles would like to take from the match, other than Shadley van Schalkwyk’s 2 wicket haul and Ryan McLaren’s 40.
The captain looked rusty and did not have answer to the NSW Blues’ bowling, there looked not much confidence or spirit within the team, but Boeta Dippenar is an experienced campaigner and can change the dressing room atmosphere. The match against Sussex Sharks is crucial and they will have to win with a convincing margin against the Sussex Sharks.
For Sussex Sharks too this is a crucial tie and they will play for a win and a possible scale to the next level of the league. Their fancied players including Piyush Chawla, Dwayne Smith were hammered by the NSW Blues players Philip Hughes and Moises Henriques who were awesome helping their team post a big 130/2.
Although 131 wasn’t a huge target to chase, none of the Sussex batsmen applied and they looked off focus and went off in quick succession scoring mean 95 runs. Now if they are to win against Diamond Eagles, they will have to stay focused and play as per plan.
The winner of this match is tough to predict.

Victoria vs Wayamba Champions League T20 Cricket, Online Live Score, Highlights 2009

10th Match, Group D: Victoria v Wayamba at Delhi
Oct 13 (16:00 local, 10:30 GMT)
Victoria Bushrangers shocked Delhi Daredevils and put up a great show that left them with 2 points in the Group D. They will play the Sri Lankan team Wayamba tomorrow to seal a berth to the next level.
Clint McKay had been outstanding for Victorian Bushrangers taking prized wickets of Virender Sehwag, Dilshan and Owais Shah and actually broken the back bone of the Delhi Daredevils. No wonder they could just post 98/8. In reply, Cameron White men scored 100 with 7 wickets and 3 plus overs to spare. Rob Quiney top scored and the captain chipped in with a cameo as well. The team is high on confidence and will look to bury Wayamba clueless in tomorrow’s encounter.

Wayamba Elevens on the other hand had a pathetic start with their match against the Delhi Daredevils. Daredevils posted a mammoth 170. They had some outstanding batting performances by Sehwag and Dinesh Karthik. Who said Sehwag is injured? The island team had a poor start, Dirk Nannes had been the destroyer of their top order and McGrath bowling after a long break never looked rusty and could take 2 wickets. Although Mahela Jayawardena top scored 170 is a big chase and they could reach just 120. The team is lagging with a negative run rate, so if they are to stand chance they will have outplay the Bushrangers quite convincingly, which is mostly unlikely thing to happen. The performers will go to the next level and losers will head home.

Trinidad and Tobago is the only domestic team representing the Caribbean in the Champions League. The team’s claim to fame is local boy, and one of the finest batsmen of all time, Brian Charles Lara. Cape Cobras:
Cape Cobras already won 1st match against Royal Challengers Bangalore with the help of Dumminy who scores 99 not out with 6 big sixes and got man of the match too.

Standard Bank Pro20 champions of the current season, Cape Cobras, are one of the two teams representing South Africa in Airtel Champions League Twenty20. The team is known to have produced a number of quality cricketers for the national side. Players like Herschelle Gibbs and JP Duminy make up the Cobras’ ranks
Having multi-skilled, flamboyant players in the line-up is a bonus but the basic premise of sound batting, bowling and fielding ability is vital - the Cobras are fortunate on that front. The current side is led by Andrew Puttick, who replaced the injured Graeme Smith. The side also boasts the services of Charl Langeveldt who has impressed with his wicket-taking ability over the years.

Otago Volts:
Otago Volts are a New Zealand side that have been based at the University Oval for the last five seasons before which they played at Carisbrook. Glenn Turner, Mark Richardson and Ken Rutherford, at various times in the last thirty years, have played their part for Otago. But the big names did not yield many trophies.

Otago adopted the name Volts, but still no change of luck. Now, boasting the services of the most exciting wicket-keeper batsman today - Brendon McCullum - the Volts are finally turning the corner; or are hoping to. They won their first major trophy in March, 2008, after nearly two decades, but have a bigger task at hand. England's six-hitting all-rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas coupled with McCullum is the energy mix that the Volts are hoping will help them leap longer.

Owais Shah from England, also bats in the middle-order for the Daredevils while Amit Mishra, India's latest leg-spin find, keeps the opposition in check. The veteran Glenn McGrath has been called in to replace the injured Paul Collingwood and the Australian's addition to the Daredevils pace attack is a shot in their arm ahead of CLT20.

Victorian Bushrangers:

Shaggy, Jamelia to perform at Champions League T20 Opening Ceremony

The Garden City of Bengaluru will be the epicentre of cricket fans as the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 kicks-off this week. The cricketing quotient aside, fans will be treated to an eye-catching line-up of entertainers at the Grand Opening Ceremony at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The Opening Ceremony promises to be a breath-taking visual extravaganza which will showcase world-class international acts and the global nature of the tournament. Just prior to the commencement of the Opening Ceremony, the 12 team captains participating in the inaugural edition of the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 will exchange team flags and take the "MCC - Spirit of Cricket" oath to respect their opponents, their teams and their umpires. The captains will then leave their handprints in clay, as an attestation to play the game within the spirit of cricket. Meanwhile 200 school children will perform a choreographed sequence to the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 theme song before revealing the team logos and releasing balloons.

The Opening Ceremony's entertainment will then kick-off in earnest with 12 world-renowned Japanese drummers electrifying the atmosphere within Chinnaswamy Stadium. This will be followed by international dancers in "Michelle Ferranti's" costumes.

Legendary Grammy award winner CHAKA KHAN will then take centre stage to entertain the crowd and viewing audience with her hit single "I FEEL FOR YOU".

Chaka Khan will be followed by the acrobatic Cube Artists. Next on from China, will be a choreographed group of Shaolin Monks displaying Tai Chi, Kung Fu and powerful Chi Kung movements in an adrenalin-packed sequence, surrounded by the agile Kalaripayattu Artists using an ancient South Indian art form. The weaponry, choreography and fast-paced techniques by these Indo-Chinese performers will leave the audience spellbound as it will depict the aggression and spirit with which the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 will be played.

World renowned reggae artist and Grammy Award winner SHAGGY will then perform his hit single "FEEL THE RUSH", accompanied by a multi-coloured laser show which will encase the entire stadium. To complement this, eight wind dancers will engulf the stadium to give fans a surreal effect.

British pop star JAMELIA will then take over with her international super hit song "SUPERSTAR".

For the grand finale, all the artists, including the children, will converge onto the field to a synchronized segment of lights, laser, concert sound and a display of fireworks that will come together to make for a spectacular climax.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Cape Cobras Champions League T20

Royal Challengers Bangalore will play Cape Cobras in the inaugural match of the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) 2009. The match will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore and will begin at 8:00 pm local time.

The inaugural Champions League Twenty20 gets underway at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday with hosts and IPL runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Cape Cobras from South Africa. Cricket's first global inter-club tournament, it is the latest twist in a format that is only seven years but has established itself as the game's main money-spinner.

That element of uncertainty was summed up by Herschelle Gibbs, a key player for the Cobras. "We have a good team and a lot of the guys have been around for a while but this is Twenty20 and anything can happen. As I said earlier it is about the team performing well on a given day that wins matches, but I think Royal Challengers will be one of the favourites."

The 23 matches in the 16-day tournament are spread between Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad. The 12 teams have been divided into four groups of three each with IPL runners-up Bangalore grouped with Cape Cobras and Otago, while IPL champions Deccan Chargers are in a pool with Stanford 20/20 winners Trinidad and Tobago and the Somerset, runners-up of England's Twenty20 Cup.

Delhi Daredevils are grouped with Victoria, the runners-up in the Australian domestic competition, and the Sri Lanka champions Wayamba. The other group comprises the Australian title-holders New South Wales, South Africa's Eagles and Sussex, winner of England's Twenty20 Cup.

The top two teams will qualify for the second round where two groups of four each will compete in a round-robin league. The top four teams will make it to the semi-finals, which will be played in New Delhi, on October 21, and Hyderabad, on October 22.
